One of my favorites was the late Eugenia Price, historical novelist's book No Pat Answers. The title alone was enough for me. I gave away two copies that I bought for myself.

Our dear Miss Lillian went to the personal care home a few months ago after the State Patrol caught her going the wrong way on the four-lane and the boys took her keys away. She became more and more vague. Today Kenneth brought some of 'Mama's books and tapes' for church members to help themselves. I didn't pause this morning but tonight I noticed that they'd left two books: one by Dr. Charles Allen, who left Grace Methodist in Atlanta to go to Texas, leaving my mother bereft because he would no longer write for the Atlanta Constitution. The second is The Prayers of Peter Marshall compiled and edited by Catherine Marshall. He was chaplain of the U S Senate when I was a child. His life as a mountain preacher was the subject of another book and one of the first movies I remember seeing. Jean Campbellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09000315400392984647noreply@blogger.com
