"We, my friend, are one of the lucky ones!"
This was Bernice Pink's comment when ever we would visit.
She was one of the most loving, gracious, grateful people I have ever known.
She died peacefully yesterday, after a brief bout with Dementia/ Alzheimer's Disease.
She will be missed but as Gregory always used to say, "She found her way out ... we are still looking."
RIP dear friend.
