Looking forward to Apple's press conference and the release of some new products and ideas. Also looking forward to Obama's State of the Union.
Have decided to have a "Wine and Cheese" gathering in the Cupola. A number of people have expressed an interest in seeing it. Will serve “little” cheeses etc.
Lunch: Leftover shrimp and pasta, peas and onions, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, a scoop of tuna fish salad made just to have in the refrigerator.
Nice conversations with Susan (General Director) about Linda Stevenson and Mexico and retiring there.
Molly announced (and we toasted her with a bottle of champaign provided by the Chef) that her book has been optioned for publication. Everyone very joyful for her. Anita’s last night, sat next to her and talked a lot about family.
For dinner: Marinated grilled chicken breast, Mexican corn, potato salad, mini-cream puffs for dessert.
After dinner everyone assembled in the living room and watched Obama’s State of the Union. Lots of serious political talk also many humorous comments.
Worked some more after TV. Took a shower. Read. Finally fell asleep by 2:00.
