The Portal

Tom hadn’t wanted it to be this way but they had found out and now the children were in danger. He had to make his move before they did. His family would have to adjust to the change.

It would have been just the three of them, what with Noreen’s fling with Bill and the uncertainty, but last minute his sister insisted that she accompany him, for the children’s sake.

Finding the portal was easy. Driving the car at a certain speed, down a specific back road, tuned into the correct radio station and zap, they were transferred. It was done.

Missing the children, Noreen would have at least liked to have had the option.

  1. You're getting pretty good at this. Very provocative, mysterious piece.
