A Few Quotes

Our friend Pat sent these quotes to me in an envelope with my address on it and a stamp for the U.S.P.S. There was also a small, flat gift inside a card and a few quotes. Nice to receive something in the mail now and then besides junk. (Notice I didn't' mention bills, most of my bills are paperless.) Thanks Pat!

"Thank you for being."
A Native American greeting.

"There are people who take the heart out of you. And there are people who put it back."
Elizabeth David

"Believe with all your heart that how you live your live makes a difference."
Colin Beavan

"Oh, the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person. Having neither to weight thoughts nor measure words, but poring them all out, just as they are, chaff and grain together, certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and with a breath of kindness blow the rest away."
George Elliot
