Remembering Those Who Have Left Us

While at Lieberman supporting Gregory, I was able to befriend many residents. They always received me with a smile or a comment or a laugh and I replied in kind and often with a hug or a kiss on the forehead.

Today I attended the service for Elvina who died on New Year's Day. She was 100+. Also, since New Years we said goodbye to Eva, Frieda (also 100+,) Dan (50,) and Shirley.

Previously we bid adieu to Batia, Bill, Lynn, Leslie, Shirley, Meryl, Shirley, Dorothy, and several others whose names I have already forgotten.

Forgotten names and faces, but remembered love and unqualified acceptance, that is the nature of resident friends at Lieberman which has the nick name of "God's Waiting Room."

Rest in Peace short time friends. Keep an eye on Gregory for me as I am sure he is welcoming you with his open heart and arms!

  1. You are so kind to continue to visit and pay respects to those in residence at Lieberman. They quickly became more than acquaintances?
