From My Cousin Susie

Susie posted this on Facebook. I am moved.

My Uncle Michael Horvich made this short film that encapsulates his vision of love with his partner, Greg, who we lost this past year. Love is so immense and beautiful and hard and can take you on so many unexpected journeys. Michael and Greg's love was palpable.

To be around them was to laugh and to sit in a place of truth. It was like the sun shining brightly on your skin and feeling the warming glow of their devotion- and this is coming from a goth girl.

I am very proud of you, Uncle Michael. We will always miss Greg. Always.

PS. It is making the festival rounds and has won at least 12 awards so far. I think it touches the universal in all of us and to see it in action with such dedication, makes it even more powerful. Please go see it should you get the chance
