My West Coast Adventure

 You may have noticed that I haven't been posting a lot recently. I am on my West Coast adventure which includes one week in Portland, two weeks in San Francisco, and one week in San Diego. This is my  first extended getaway in a long long time now that I don't have to be nearby for Gregory.

 In Portland, visiting there for the first time, I'm staying with my friend Pat who recently moved here from Wilmette, Illinois. She's showing me the sites and the eats.

 Next will be San Francisco, where I will be staying with my cousin Les and his partner  Irv.  Part of my being in San Francisco is to attend the oldest and largest LGBTQ film festival  where "ALZHEIMER's:  A love story" will be screening two times. I will be part of the "talk back" afterwards.

 Finally I will be in San Diego, staying with Ken and Amethel. And godsons Kai and Paz.

  I have things I could write about but I decided to travel with only my iPad so it's a little bit more difficult to type and enter data. I will be posting pictures here  now and then.

    Dan and Louie's Oyster Bar --Portland's oldest family restaurant. It was a dining experience not to be missed.

    The Rose Garden and Grotto, also not to be missed. I was there a long time ago.
