Just a Memory: Grandma Lillian
Grandma Lillian, my mother's mother, was diagnosed Manic Depressive. In those days they didn't have an easy cure to help. When she was "depressive" she was OK. When she was "manic" she was out of control. I cannot imagine how my mother felt having to commit her mother to a mental institution.
