The TV Show, The Good Place (showing on AMAZON, NETFLIX, and HULU,) is from Michael Schur, executive producer of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "Parks and Recreation."

It is a smart, unique new comedy that follows Eleanor Shellstrop, an ordinary woman who, through an extraordinary string of events, enters the afterlife, thinking she has entered "The Good Place" by accident.

She comes to realize that she hasn't been a very good person and other important lessons with the help of The Architect and three other characters who also just arrived in the good place.

The comedy takes a new look at life, its meaning and purpose, and death. Talk about binge watching! The following quote comes from the final episode of the third season. It is quite insightful and moving.

The more human you are, the less things make sense. That is part of the fun. If there were an answer to how the universe works, the universe wouldn’t be special. It would just be machinery fulfilling its cosmic design.  But since nothing seems to make sense, when you find someone that does it’s euphoria. In all this randomness, in this pandemonium, you find someone and have a life together. Isn’t that remarkable? So embrace the pandemonium and find happiness in the unique insanity of being here, now.
